Planetary Guardians’ personal data policy complies with the EU’s personal data regulation and Danish legislation in general. We always inform our members, partners, and recipients of our newsletters about when we collect personal data and how we use them. We never resell personal data or web statistics to third parties.
Planetary Guardians processes personal information and has adopted this Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal information which we may receive or collect as part of our services or when you visit our website. We are only processing personal information which is relevant and necessary for our cooperation with you, or to fulfil our contractual or legal obligations.

What information do we collect about you
When you register as subscriber we collect, save and process your name, address and e-mail address. We collect information when you voluntarily complete surveys and provide feedback. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
How will we use the information about you
We collect information about you to process your registration, manage your information and to e-mail you about subjects we think may be of interest to you regarding PG activities.
Storing data
The data registered is stored with one of our IT system suppliers in Denmark who comply with the GDPR regulations. Furthermore Planetary Guardians is acting according to Danish law.
Payments
We accept subscription fees by VISA or MasterCard via the Danish payment systems OnPay (gateway) and Clearhaus (processor). All payment information is stored for 5 years, cf. Section 10 of the Danish Accounting Act, and is subsequently deleted.
Terms of donations
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• If you regret the donation within 14 days your donation will be refunded.
• VISA and MasterCard is accepted. Prices include VAT.
Newsletters
You can sign up for our mailing lists on the website, but the mail system works independently of this. We use double opt-in, which means that you must approve the registration in an email that is sent to you automatically. You can always unsubscribe from a newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of a given email. As mail system, we use the SendinBlue service, whose servers are located in the EU.
Access to your information and correction
Everyone has the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email us at the following address: engberg@planetaryguardians.global
We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
Complaints and disputes
It is possible to complain about our processing of information and data by contacting the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf. Section 58 of the Personal Data Act. However, we first recommend contacting our webmaster at hakuturi@planetaryguardians.global.
Attacks
If our website is attacked (DDoS or hacking), we report it to the Danish Data Protection Agency within 72 hours. As soon as possible then we inform on the website that the attack has taken place.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
PG keeps our Privacy Policy under regular review and we will place any updates on this website. The Privacy Policy was last updated on 1. October 2021.
